Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior System Administrator with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance to join our team! This role involves providing hands-on support in system security administration, Active Directory management, troubleshooting, system optimization, and software installation. The ideal candidate will work with Windows Server administration, VMWare, storage solutions, and cross domain technologies to ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Job requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform system security administration functions, managing customer accounts via Active Directory.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues, implementing necessary corrections.
  • Plan, test, install, and integrate new and upgraded software and operating systems.
  • Monitor and optimize system resources to maximize efficiency and performance.
  • Install and maintain custom software solutions as required.


    • Required Qualifications and Skills:

    • Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
    • All positions are 100% on site. You must be able to commute to the Northern Virginia area.
    • Hands-on experience with Windows Active Directory and Windows Server administration.
    • Familiarity with monitoring and configuration tools for system management.
    • Proficiency in VMWare or other virtualization technologies.
    • Knowledge of storage solutions and cross domain technologies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, VCP).
    • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
